During the month of December, President Bernard Paolini played Santa to several organizations in Boulder City. Because of the generosity of the members who donate to the monthly drawing, the chapter had funds available to spread a bit of Christmas cheer to local non-profit organizations in town. Checks were presented to Lend A Hand of Boulder City that provides transportation to seniors and the disabled, as well as respite care for caregivers, the Senior Center of Boulder City and Emergency Aid. All three of these organizations do a tremendous amount of good for hundreds of folks in our community. The groups are always looking for good volunteers to help in their work, and if you have an hour or two a week, or even an hour a month, please consider donating some of your time to any one of these groups. To contact the Senior Center of Boulder City between the hours of 8 a.m. and three 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, call 293-3320. Emergency Aid number is 293-0332, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 12 noon. Lend A Hand can be reached at 294-2363, Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Each organization provides a variety of volunteer activities to which you can donate your time and talent.
