RPEN’s Executive Committee comes together July 16-17 at the Fiesta Hotel/Casino/Resort in Henderson, NV for their 2nd meeting this year. This meeting is a prelude to the fall convention that will be held September 17-20, also at the Fiesta Henderson, and hosted by our Henderson Chapter.
The Executive Committee will be discussing bylaw proposals, chapter budgets and the overall budget for the State Office as our next fiscal year begins October 1.
The day will kick off Tuesday morning at 10:00 a.m. with a gathering of the Southern Nevada Officers and Delegates, who also meet three times per year. The business of the Executive Committee begins after lunch, and will conclude on Wednesday around Noon. There will be reports from our Committee Chairs, including Bylaws & Resolutions, Finance, Legislative/Insurance, Membership, Strategic Planning, Pat Fladager Special Recognition Awards and this year the group also includes our Nominating Committee as we will be electing a new Vice-President as Bernard’s term ends September 30 and Vicki takes over as State President. Bernard will continue on the Executive Committee however, as Past State President. The offices of State Secretary and Treasurer are also up for another two year terms.
Our Executive Committee is led by our State President Bernard Paolini (Boulder City), State Vice-President Vicki Cameron (Henderson), State Secretary Paula Petruso (Henderson) and State Treasurer Rita Evasovic (Bi-Valley). The committee also includes two members from Las Vegas, Paul Brooks and Therese Campbell; two members from Washoe, Elaine Steiner and Perralina Palm and Linda Hoxsie from our Carson Chapter. Our Parliamentarian is Dollie McPartlin from the Las Vegas Chapter.
